Admission is free for the hall of honor, the media library, the Forum – former reception hall – and the historic rooms of the Palais de la Porte Dorée.

The visit of the Palace, located above the Forum, presents its history since its construction in 1931 to the present. A Museum ticket or a Palais ticket (Museum + Aquarium) must be purchased for admission to the historic visit.

You can visit the Musée national de l'histoire de l'immigration (National Museum of the History of Immigration) on your own or with a guide.

To facilitate your visit, the Museum offers:

  • Visiting guides in several languages, available in the display areas. They can also be downloaded below.
  • “Points paroles” at 3 p.m. on weekends and every day during school holidays: these 15-minute presentations spotlight a work, a document or a series of objects (in French only);
  • Guided tours with a Museum lecturer.

Trained personnel are also available in the display areas to answer your questions.
