The newest spot in the 12th arrondissement

Poisson Lune is the new summer terrace of the Palais de la Porte Dorée with events from Tuesday to Sunday, midday to midnight, for visitors to enjoy summer in Paris with family or friends.
Events include meetings with travellers, exhibitions, world dance and jam sessions, all accompanied by a selection of drinks and delicious snacks.

Linked to the exhibition Paris-Londres, Music Migrations by the Musée National de l'Histoire de l'Immigration, Poisson Lune is opening its stage to French and English music with influences from Jamaica, the Caribbean, Mali, Cameroon, Senegal, Nigeria, New Caledonia, India and more. A multitude of eclectic beats to transport you elsewhere.

Poisson Lune is of course a strong advocate of the circular economy, sustainable agriculture and the environment: organic food hampers, the vinyl record market, second-hand clothes stands (with the Emmaüs charity) and creative workshops will punctuate the weekends. Young children will have their own special area to play or read, with storytelling and games linked to the Tropical Aquarium!

Whatever your tastes, there is always something to see, hear, taste and experience at Poisson Lune.

Entertainment all week long

  • Monday is rest day, the terrace is closed so come back tomorrow!
  • Tuesday is cocktail hour for travel bugs. Mingle with seasoned travellers, globe-trotters, expatriates and dreamers to discuss journeys and adventures over a drink, because travelling is thirsty work.
  • Wednesday is Studio Sessions evening, starting at 7pm with happenings in images and music around the exhibition Paris-Londres, Music Migrations and followed by a DJ set and/or showcase with the Studio Session guest at 8pm.
  • On Thursdays, starting in July, live radio programmes will be recorded from the forecourt with Radio Campus Paris. Then take part in a hip-hop class and round off the evening with a lively or groovy DJ set, depending on the mood of the moment.
  • On Fridays perfect your dance moves with a class in Salsa, Lindy Hop and more. Once you’ve warmed up, take part in a live concert!
  • Saturday is workshop day for all ages, with gardening, cooking, hairdressing, etc. Browse the vinyl record and second-hand clothes stands, explore the flea market and enjoy some great encounters. And how about a live concert to wrap up the day?
  • On Sunday, relax in a deck chair with a coffee or a fruit juice, before picking up your organic fruit & vegetable hamper. Take part in quizzes and, for the more adventurous, open stages with jam sessions. Film-lovers can enjoy movies and documentary screenings once the sun goes down.

Eat and drink responsibly!

Delicious and healthy eating

Poisson Lune is also a delight for your taste buds. A wide range of foods are on offer with pairings and fusion between culinary cultures thanks to different food-trucks every day of the week and a kitchen on board a double-decker bus. The emphasis is on organic produce!

The Baluchon double-decker bus

Baluchon, purveyor of delicious dishes, is an inclusive company which enables people with employment difficulties to take control of their future. In keeping with the exhibition Paris-Londres, Music Migrations, they have set up shop in an iconic British double-decker.

A 100% fair trade, local drinks menu

You won’t find any big brand sodas at Poisson Lune, only fair-trade suppliers!
