The new ephemeral terrace on the forecourt of the Palais de la Porte Dorée.
Poisson Lune is the new summer terrace of the Palais de la Porte Dorée with events from Tuesday to Sunday, for visitors to enjoy summer in Paris with family or friends.
Events include meetings with travellers, exhibitions, world dance and jam sessions, all accompanied by a selection of drinks and delicious snacks.
Linked to the exhibition Paris-Londres, Music Migrations by the Musée National de l'Histoire de l'Immigration, Poisson Lune is opening its stage to French and English music with influences from Jamaica, the Caribbean, Mali, Cameroon, Senegal, Nigeria, New Caledonia, India and more. A multitude of eclectic beats to transport you elsewhere.
Poisson Lune is of course a strong advocate of the circular economy, sustainable agriculture and the environment: organic food hampers, the vinyl record market, second-hand clothes stands (with the Emmaüs charity) and creative workshops will punctuate the weekends. Young children will have their own special area to play or read, with storytelling and games linked to the Tropical Aquarium!
Whatever your tastes, there is always something to see, hear, taste and experience at Poisson Lune.
Poisson Lune is also a delight for your taste buds. A wide range of foods are on offer with pairings and fusion between culinary cultures thanks to different food-trucks every day of the week and a kitchen on board a double-decker bus. The emphasis is on organic produce!
Baluchon, purveyor of delicious dishes, is an inclusive company which enables people with employment difficulties to take control of their future. In keeping with the exhibition Paris-Londres, Music Migrations, they have set up shop in an iconic British double-decker.
You won’t find any big brand sodas at Poisson Lune, only fair-trade suppliers!
The Carawine is a nomadic wine-tasting caravan which is making a stop at the Palais de la Porte Dorée. Come discover wines from surprising locations, little-known terroirs and regional, sometimes forgotten varieties…
From Tuesday to Friday, 16pm to 12am.
