Publishing and research
Publishing
Through our various publications (books, catalogs, albums, and journals), we provide resources adapted to all audiences to better understand the history of immigration, challenge preconceived ideas, and shed light on contemporary migration issues.
Collection-related publications
Explore the museum’s collections through dedicated catalogues. Comprising more than 9,000 artworks, objects, and documents, these collections bear witness to the extraordinary richness and diversity of the history of immigration in France across the centuries.
Exhibition catalogues
The Palais’ exhibition catalogues bring together contributions from leading specialists that complement its exhibitions, offering readers the opportunity to extend their visit. Published by renowned publishing houses, these volumes have become authoritative reference works on the themes they explore.
Mondes & Migrations journal
Published by the museum, Mondes & Migrations is a social sciences journal featuring thematic issues on contemporary migration-related topics in France and around the world. Each issue is complemented by cultural and artistic commentary and reviews.
Children’s publications
Our publications for young readers are inspired by our exhibitions, collections, and the history of immigration more broadly. Written with children in mind, they are richly illustrated and designed to be both engaging and accessible. Produced in collaboration with renowned publishers, they combine educational value with an enjoyable reading experience.
