Literature, comics, cinema : the Prix de la Porte Dorée (Porte Dorée Prize) and residencies encourage contemporary engaged creation by supporting projects that explore issues of migration, memory, and transmission, while also raising awareness about the preservation of biodiversity.
Porte Dorée Prize
With the Literary prize and the Comics prize, the Palais de la Porte Dorée chooses to support strong, engaged, and vibrant literature that helps change perspectives and attitudes.
Literary prize
The Literary prize was created in 2010 to reward a work of fiction dealing with exile, immigration, plural identities, or otherness linked to migratory realities.
Comics prize
The Comics prize highlights committed graphic novels that resonate with the major themes addressed by the Palais de la Porte Dorée : migration, the fight against discrimination, the protection of aquatic life, biodiversity, and environmental emergencies.

Since 2014, the Horizon(s) residency, supported by the Palais de la Porte Dorée and the Groupe de recherches et d’essais cinématographiques (GREC), has been backing film projects that explore questions of migration, memory, and transmission.
