Majestic guardians of the palace entrance since 1931, the four lionesses sculpted by Henri Navarre have inspired the name of this new summer terrace. Embodying calm strength, elegance and movement, they welcome you at the gates of this iconic monument in the 12th arrondissement and invite you to enjoy a timeless escape, far from the hustle and bustle of Paris.

Conceived as a large, welcoming and cultural terrace, Les Lionnes blends the spirit of a traditional open-air café, a bohemian atmosphere and Art Deco touches. With its cosy furnishings, shaded areas, greenery, summer light and a programme open to all, this new venue aims to become an unmissable part of Parisian summer life.

A programme of cultural and festive events throughout the summer

Throughout the season, Les Lionnes will be offering an eclectic programme combining music, film, social gatherings and opportunities to get together: live concerts and DJ sets, open-air screenings, blind tests and themed events, workshops and games for all ages, festive events organised in collaboration with local cultural organisations and community groups, and evening pop-up tours of the monument (which is closed to the public).

A food and drinks menu designed for sharing

Designed to complement long summer evenings, the menu will feature hearty, accessible and convivial fare: pizzas to share, street food inspired by different cultures, vegetarian options, ice creams and summer treats, signature cocktails, beers, wines and non-alcoholic drinks.
The bar will be open all day to allow visitors to make the most of the venue, both during the day and in the evening, from Wednesday to Sunday, 5pm to midnight on weekdays and noon to midnight at weekends. Combining historic architecture with a summery atmosphere, Les Lionnes offers a unique experience in Paris, where culture, relaxation and conviviality come together all summer long.
